Privacy policy
Your company file is your business's financial history. Here is exactly what we collect, why, how we protect it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
We collect only what the service requires:
- Contact details you submit through our forms — name, email address, company name, and the description of your problem.
- Files you upload for service — your QuickBooks company file and any related files (backups, transaction logs) you send us for evaluation or recovery.
- Order details — the service you purchased and the records our payment processor returns to us. We never see or store your full card number.
Before or at the point of collection we tell you what the information is for, and we use it solely for that purpose. We do not use your data for anything unrelated to delivering the service unless you consent or the law requires it.
How we protect your files
- File transfer happens over an encrypted connection, and files are stored encrypted while in our care.
- Your files are handled only by the engineers working on your case. No one else opens them.
- We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or the contents of your files. Ever.
- We do not disclose your information to third parties except as needed to deliver the service (for example, our payment processor) or as required by law.
Retention
We keep personal information and uploaded files only as long as necessary to complete your service and support you afterward. We keep the data we hold relevant, accurate, and no broader than the purpose requires.
Cookies
This site sets almost nothing:
- Notice acknowledgment — one first-party cookie that remembers you dismissed the site-notice banner, so it does not reappear on every page.
- Analytics (optional) — if enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused counter that does not use cross-site tracking cookies or build visitor profiles.
There are no advertising trackers on this site.
